Pears Foundation, in partnership with Leeds Community Foundation, are pleased to announce the return of the Pears Youth Fund.
The fund will focus on encouraging applicants that actively involve young people in the design and delivery of projects that focus on voice, engagement and influence for them and their peers. We are particularly interested in looking at the barriers that make it more difficult for young people to have a voice and be heard, or engage and interact with each other, and with local organisations. We would like funded projects to explore different methods of engagement and collaboration and to understand more about the barriers and solutions.
Grants of £500 to £7,500 are available, we have a pot of £100,000 available to distribute and applicants should have an annual income below £500k.
Applications close 12 noon on Thursday 13 September; decisions will be announced at the end of October.
