We are so pleased to open the Pears Youth Fund, in partnership with Leeds Community Foundation, for the third year.
The Fund is focusing on encouraging projects that actively involve young people in their design and delivery and that focus on voice, engagement and influence. We are particularly interested in looking at the barriers that make it more difficult for young people to have a voice and be heard, or engage and interact with each other and with local organisations. We would like to use the funding to explore different methods of engagement and collaboration and to understand more about the barriers and solutions.
Priority will be given to organisations with an income of under £500,000 where a grant of up to £10,000 can make a significant difference. Applications can be made to support running costs or undertake a specific project or event (i.e. if the event is an integral part of the project and development work).
Size of Grant:
- Grants of up to £7,500 for applicants applying as a single organisation
- Grants of up to £10,000 for projects who can demonstrate that they are working in partnership
Applications need to be received before 12 noon on Thursday 26 September 2019.
Further information and full application guidelines are available on the Leeds Community Foundation website here.
