The #iwill campaign launch 2017 National Youth Social Action Survey

The latest findings from Step Up to Serve’s #iwill campaign survey.

24th April 2018

The #iwill campaign have launched the fourth annual National Youth Social Action Survey.

The 2017 survey results highlight the ongoing need for more meaningful social action opportunities for young people between 10-15 years old and for young people from less-affluent communities. Meaningful social action is defined as those who have participated at least every few months and recognise that their activities had some benefit for themselves and others.

Research shows taking part in good quality social action can improve young people’s own health and wellbeing too: 61% are more likely to engage in sport and exercise and 84% reported higher life satisfaction.
