A new £100,000 Fund with Leeds Community Foundation has opened for applications. The Pears Youth Fund will focus on encouraging applicants that actively involve young people in the design and delivery of projects that focus on voice, engagement and influence in the Leeds and Bradford areas.
The fund aims to look at the barriers that make it difficult for young people to have a voice and be heard; or engage and interact with each other, and with local organisations. It is hoped the grants made within the fund will explore different methods of engagement and collaboration, and will help develop a better understanding about the barriers and solutions.
Applicants can apply for a grant of up to £7,500 to be spent within 12 months of receipt. You can find out more on how to apply here.
