Chief Rabbi launches Ben Azzai Programme

The Chief Rabbi has launched a new initiative promoting social action for young people.

Chief Rabbi, Ephraim Mirvis, last night launched a new initiative to promote social action amongst young people. The Ben Azzai programme will take 15 university students from across the Orthodox Jewish community to India every year and then offer a follow up programme to enable them to share their experiences and become more involved in social action projects. Pears Foundation is funding the initiative, which will run in partnership with OLAM, JDC Entwine, Tzedek and Gabriel Project Mumbai.
