We’re so pleased to hear that Dr Beth Breeze, Director of the Centre for Philanthropy, University of Kent, has been awarded the Association of Fundraising Professionals/Skystone Partners Prize for Research on Fundraising and Philanthropy for her book, ‘The New Fundraisers: Who Organises Charitable Giving in Contemporary Society?’.
‘The New Fundraisers’ was praised by the prize jury for moving beyond the focus on individual donors, their characteristics and motivations, to include the “complex work of cultivation” by the fundraiser.
Beth has been a great friend of the Foundation for many years now, and we’re delighted to see her work recognised and celebrated in this way.
