Our Power of Youth Charter Commitments

Pears Foundation signs up to the Power of Youth Charter

24th November 2020

Pears Foundation has been supporting the #iWill Campaign from its beginning in 2013.  At the end of the year, Step Up to Serve, the time-limited charity behind the campaign will close, and so to mark #iWill Week 2020, we are very pleased to commit our ongoing commitment to this work by publishing our Power of Youth Charter commitments.

Sir Trevor Pears CMG said:

“In November 2013, Pears Foundation joined the #iWill Campaign with a pledge to invest an additional £500,000 to give more young people the opportunity to access high quality programmes.  Seven years on, we’re proud to have invested over £15 million in youth social action, supporting our Partners to sustain the incredible work they do, as well as encouraging new developments and innovations.

But none of this stops here.  So as a founding funder of the #iWill Campaign, we are delighted to be a founding signatory of the Power of Youth Charter, and look forward to working alongside our fellow signatories and Partners to continue the great work of the campaign.”
